Alexandra Harbold* (Jane) is thankful to be back at Salt Lake Acting Company. Previously at SLAC, she acted in HAND TO GOD, TWO STORIES, CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION, SIX YEARS, and ICE GLEN; and directed DEATH OF A DRIVER, THE WOLVES, TRIBES, and the premieres of CLIMBING WITH TIGERS, (A MAN ENTERS), and THE PERSIAN QUARTER. Recent projects include directing THE ODYSSEY with Movement Director Daniel Charon (U of U Babcock Theatre), co-creating THE LIVE CREATURE AND ETHEREAL THINGS (Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company in collaboration with Flying Bobcat Theatrical Laboratory), and dramaturging MARY STUART, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT, SWEAT, and OSLO (Pioneer Theatre Company). Upcoming projects: directing AT THE BOTTOM (Pinnacle Acting Company) and THE NIGHT WITCHES (Egyptian YouTheatre). Harbold is Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Flying Bobcat and Assistant Professor of Directing in the University of Utah’s Department of Theatre. She earned her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and her Masters from the University of London Goldsmiths College.
