Corinne Penka graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah in 2005. She currently works as a Dance Specialist at Hawthorne Elementary and Lincoln Elementary, in addition to teaching the HS1 class for Tanner Dance’s Children’s Dance Theater. Corinne has danced with a variety of dance companies in the SLC area, including SB Dance, Movement Forum, RawMoves, and (currently) The Penguin Lady Dance Collective. She is also an Xtend Barre Instructor and an avid fitness enthusiast. When not dancing like a fiend or teaching kids to move like “oozing lava,” she is usually sipping coffee, running madly on some mountain trail, or devouring a documentary.
